Yellow Pencil Skirt

I found this great, yellow fabric in the clearance section of Joanns and really wanted to make a skirt from it, but I’ve already made several A-line skirts, so I wanted to try something different. I decided on a pencil skirt with an invisible zipper. It was an easy skirt to make and I even decided to make it a little more professional looking by finishing my seams with bias tape, opposed to a zig-zag stitch.

Ravenclaw Ring

I’ve recently started experimenting with resin as a platform for jewelry making. I bought a Modpodge “starter kit” and made this ring. I like to think if I ever attended Hogwarts, I would have been a Ravenclaw.

Tutorial: Fleur-de-lis Glitter Phone Case

For this tutorial, you will need:
image
- A plain phone case
-Modpodge
-Glitter
-Stickers
-Brushes
-Spray Lacquer

Step 1: Stick your sticker on the case.

Step 2: Modpodge around the sticker. Make sure you get the sides of the case too.

Step 3: Glitter! I tried to avoid the sticker as much as possible. It was easier to peel off later.

Step 4: Let it dry a little bit, then peel the sticker off. Continue to let it dry completely.
image
Step 5: Use a smaller brush to paint Modpodge within the shape of where your sticker was.

Step 6: Glitter some more!
Step 7: Let it dry completely, then spray lacquer.
TADA!
